Amir Zargara, an Iranian-Canadian (BIPOC) writer, director, and producer, offers a unique perspective shaped by the cultural tapestry of Iran and Canada. His journey, marked by the resilience of an immigrant and the challenges of living with a stutter, profoundly influences his approach to storytelling. Amir embarked on his filmmaking journey with "Become the Wounded" in 2021. He has since produced a feature film, multiple short films, commercials, music videos, and documentaries. His work has garnered 30 awards and been featured in over 100 film festivals, including Oscar-qualifying events such as Austin, Calgary, Santa Barbara, Raindance, Rhode Island, Tirana, Nashville, HollyShorts, Edmonton, and BronzeLens, among others.
